Yesterday I made a cake. It shall be eaten today. Also rented a few movies. Two I watched with the other gits- Whale Rider, which was quite good, and Dumb And Dumber, which was stupidly amusing... or mausingly stupid, I haven't decided which yet- and one on my own, Clerks. Which was funny as hell. I think that Randall may be my idol, despite his whole hermaphrodite fetish.
I have a weird tendancy to watch Kevin Smith films after midnight. Because there's too much cursing in them to watch at any other time.
Still have The Matrix Reloaded to watch this evening.
Also stayed up till about three or four doing homework- art mostly. I drew my Open Choice... *Grins.* Ms. Adams' reaction to it should be quite interesting. After that I tried to do my Mi'kmaq journal but then realized that the world was swimming a bit and so I went to bed. Was woken a few hours later by breakfast in bed, which was nice if a bit untimely.
It's my birthday today. Just in case you forgot. Da bought me a Cure DVD. ^_^ Also got a few chokers, which are in retrospective much less tacky than collars, and some books- 3rd volume of Love Hina, American Gods, and another of the Royal Diaries (which, yeah, I still love). As well Bloodflowers, De Stijl, and a Best Of Enigma CD. *Squee!*
... And rainbow toe socks. I don't know WHY I got those...
I've finished Love Hina already though. Gods, I love that manga. I love Kitsune... she's a freelnace writer with a huge libido and an alcohol problem. (Why are my favourite characters always alcoholic?) And Kaola Su, who's like the manga version of Fez- weird foreign kid from an unknown country. And Kendo Chick. I sort of forget her name. But she had the immortal line, "If they fail, I would be honoured to assist them in their ritual suicides."
The only one I really don't like is Shinobu. She seems to be characterized more by her crush on Keitaro than through actual personality.
I'm sickish throatwise and my stomach's all gurgly. I think I'll go for a walk before supper...
Anyway. I've homework to do which I really should have had done last night... haven't even started my science project and probably won't today. Because it's my birthday. (Dammit.)
Oh, and as an aside? Fifteen doesn't feel any different from fourteen. Go figure.

"To divide one's life by years is of course to tumble into a trap set by our own arithmetic. The calendar consents to carry on its dull wall-existence by the arbitrary timetables we have drawn up in consultation with those permanent commuters, Earth and Sun. But we, unlike trees, need grow no annual rings." - Cliff Fadiman
