i don't know that i was trying, although, knowing the kid i was, i likely was without meaning to. and then, somewhere along the line, i realized either that i wasn't going to get that parental approval, or that i didn't care. a bit of both. (i like that it's still a bit odd to wear a dress, though. i was never quite graceful enough for that, and i probably won't ever be.)

and on that note, man do i ever remember the first time i tried to bind. (i've always been quite jealous of people with boyish figures.) it didn't work very well, to my dismay. (it tickles me to use dismay in a sentence that makes sense at almost one, haha.) and i think i remember it hurting, a bit. (i'm not really sure how that was relevant, but i thought i'd share anyway.)
