Kerrin and me just watched Green Day play American Idiot on the Grammys.

Me: Wait... this is a song about hating blind patriotism, television, and the Bush administration. Are they allowed to play this?
Kerrin, with a little "aren't-I-clever" smirk: Well, I guess they're not your grammy's Grammys.*
Pause.
Me: Please tell me you didn't just say that.
