So I'm in Histoire Canadienne, checking my friendslist for updates and following an RPG and reading today's Friendly Hostility and considering writing a fic about Lupin and Justin Finch-Fletchley, or possibly a That 70's Show/Fawlty Towers crossover.
This counts as working, yes?
I'm supposed to be researching Canada's Hundred Days, but I think I get the basic gist of it. It was 1918, and there were Germans. Then we were all very devious and sneaky, and then quite suddenly there were no Germans anymore and we went home for tea and crumpets. And that's that. Problem is, I'm supposed to teach this thing to the class in a week or so and I'm not sure that's enough to go on.
I'm going to make slides for it, I think, with little stick figures and wiggly diagrams and lots of gore. Just like Giles' flashcards.

(On that note, a brief letter.
Dear other Buffy fans:
Anthony Stewart Head is not hot. He is old, and grey, and unattractive, and quite possibly wrinkly in unpleasant places, and Giles.
You are all on crack.
Warily backing away in mortal terror,
Me

P.S.: No, the accent doesn't make him hot. Know who else had an accent? HITLER, THAT'S WHO.
P.P.S.: Not that I'm comparing Giles to Hitler. Hitler probably didn't make flashcards. He did paint postcards, though.
P.P.P.S.: And had no sense of perspective. That's how you could tell he was a psychotic fuckhead, you know. No sense of perspective.)

... Know what "veteran" is in French? "Old fighter."
