Schwarzenegger's spokeswoman defended the governor's position, saying he continues to back gay rights, including domestic partnership programs that grant same-sex couples most of the rights enjoyed by married couples. [Emphasis mine.]
Oh, well, THAT'S alright then. Most. Not like giving a certain minority fewer legal rights than the majority is discrimination, or anything.
This is one of those times when I choose to ignore my country's faults and just thank Dog that I live here.
