It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would when I got it done, but it's throbbing like a motherfucker now.

I still can't believe there's a piece of fucking metal in my face. I keep waiting for it to fall out, just because... well, it's a weird fucking concept, man. Metal in my face. Like a fish on a hook. An emo fish.

I kind of like it, though.

I also bought Conor Oberst's solo album and it is beautiful like clear summer days and long empty roads.

oohhh pie. i didn't think of that. i did, however, eat a lot of ice cream. and popsicles. because they are easy to get in and stuff. also, yogurt. my lip swelled up kind of a lot, so chewing really didn't happen for the first few days.

Mmmm, ice cream. The swelling has gone down now but it was pretty balloon-y for a while now. Now it's just infected. :(
