Anyone have any recommendations- particularly in regard to books? I haven't read any decent fantasy or science fiction in a while.
(Of course, you have to keep in mind that my ideas of what constitutes "decent" fantasy and sci fi are markedly different from the usual. I'm getting disillusioned with the traditional sword-and-sorcery format. There is just so much crap there it's hard to find the good stuff.)
