Do you know what the worst feeling in the whole world is?
Not understanding something.
More than anything else I hate just sitting there, staring at a textbook and willing it to make sense. It's frustrating and infuriating and I hate hate HATE it.
Why yes, yes I did have Biology homework tonight. Thank God this term's almost over. Come February, no more circulatory systems or red blood cells (until next year when I'm taking Bio again oh God). I'll be taking classes I understand, classes I'll enjoy, classes I won't come out of feeling all knotty and miserable-
... Wait, I'll have math.

Aw, El. I feel the same way about my science class. Just got my test back from before break-- I got a 63.

Math will be kick ass! I can't wait for math, I feel deprived and incomplete without it.
And it'll be easy (least, that's what Mr Saab says). But you know maybe if you don't sit by yourself you might get more out of it! :PPP
There might be a chance I can help but only if you ask!

Mr. Saab's a math teacher. He thinks math in general is not only easy but fun. (Which, granted, it can be when you know all the rules.) Then again, last year I did pretty good, so we'll see.
There might be a chance I can help but only if you ask!
Would that be with math or with bio, then?

Yeah, I know. Last year I actually surprised myself by enjoying math. Which I haven't done since... er... fourth grade, I think.
Mostly my problem with Bio is I rush through it too much, I think- at least that's what I noticed when I got that mini-project back. I'm not entirely sure about how lymphocytes work either.

Ellie, right after I type this I am going upstairs to that drawer in my desk where I will get my "Bio 11 in 17 pages" for you. It has colour-coded diagrams. And I will help you study, because I feel for you. Bio 11 is hell. Can't wait for Bio 12! Hope my cram guide will help. It worked for me. I got an 82 on the exam, which was my best mark on a Bio test all year. But maybe your standards are higher than mine.

Ooh, diagrams! Thank you kindly, Miz Caroline.
I did get a ninety-five once, but that was an accident, or a fluke, or... I dunno... divine intervention or something.
